Neurostar TMS therapy: An alternative treatment for depression without medication
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a technological breakthrough in the treatment of Major Depression that utilizes pulses of magnetic energy, similar in strength to those produced by a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine, to stimulate areas of the brain known to control mood. TMS therapy is an alternative treatment for depression without medication.
The Neurostar TMS Therapy System, developed by Neuronetics, is the first and only FDA approved device for TMS therapy and is an outpatient procedure performed in the offices of Southern California TMS Center. We currently have treatment centers in Beverly Hills, Pasadena, Orange County, and Long Beach.
