Southern California TMS Center was established for the treatment of depression using the FDA approved Neurostar TMS machine. Under the direction and guidance of the Medical Director, Todd Hutton MD, the trained staff of Southern California TMS Center is there to answer any of your questions and help in your recovery from depression.
Dr. Todd Hutton is a board certified Psychiatrist and a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the USC Keck School of Medicine where he teaches residents in Psychiatry, and is on staff at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, CA.
Dr. Hutton received his Bachelors Degree in Biology in 1985, and his Doctor of Medicine in 1989 both from the University of California, Irvine. He completed his residency training in Psychiatry at Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center, where he spent his last year as Chief Resident.

In private practice since 1993, Dr. Hutton is experienced in the evaluation and treatment of many areas of adult psychiatric problems, including but not limited to Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Schizophrenia, and Chemical Dependency, as well as Worker’s Compensation psychiatry.
If a psychiatric illness is diagnosed, one of our doctors will discuss the various treatment options available, and assist the patient in deciding on a well thought out approach to their care.
We are pleased to announce that Southern California TMS Center is among the first centers nationwide to offer outpatient treatment utilizing the newest FDA approved treatment for depression, Neurostar Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Therapy.

Stephanie Vergara, LVN
Stephanie joined Southern California TMS Center in February, 2011. As a licensed LVN, Stephanie has specialized in psychiatric nursing since 2005 and is the Senior TMS Technician and TMS Coordinator of our Beverly Hills & Pasadena Centers. Stephanie is able to answer any questions you may have about TMS. Stephanie is fluent in English and Spanish.
Lupe Cortez
Lupe Cortez joined Dr. Hutton’s Psychiatric practice in 2007. Then in 2009, she became certified as a TMS technician. Now with more than 4 years experience, she is confident that you will love your experience with SoCal TMS. As office manager, Lupe also handles many inquiries and works diligently to ensure that all your Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation questions are thoroughly answered. Whether TMS is an answer for you or a loved one or if Insurance will cover it or just to get info mailed to you. She will see to it that that your experience is pleasant at Southern California TMS Center. She is also bilingual in English and Spanish.
Lauren Sikes
Lauren is our newest member of the SoCal TMS Team. Lauren is a recent graduate of California State University of San Bernardino in Healthcare Administration. She is our Dana Point technician, as well as the coordinator for Orange County operations.
Tara Myers, MFTI
Tara has an extensive background in the mental health field. As a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern, she has experienced working with treatment-resistant depression and is excited to be a part of successfully treating such patients at Southern California TMS Center as one of our TMS Techs in Dana Point. Tara received her master’s degree in Psychology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and is currently pursuing a post-graduate certificate in Addiction Studies.
Mark Lozano
Mark joined Southern California TMS Center in December 2010. In addition to his work at SoCal TMS, Mark has had a long career in the mental health industry with nearly 20 years managing hospital inpatient admissions. Mark is one of our TMS Technicians at the Pasadena Center.
